ÜBERMENSCH
$32.00

The Übermensch (German for "Overman, Overhuman, Above-Human, Superman, Super-human, Ultrahuman, Higher-Person, Higher-Being") is a concept in the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche. In his 1883 book Thus Spoke Zarathustra, Nietzsche has his character Zarathustra posit the Übermensch as a goal for humanity to set for itself: an ideal superior man of the future who could rise above conventional Christian morality to create and impose his own values.

HEART/MIND
$32.00

In Zen Buddhism, an ensō (円相) is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create. The ensō symbolizes absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe, and mu (the void). The ensō in this design is based on the character for heart/mind and was made by Daido Bunka in the first half of the eighteenth century.
